My Top 3 Batman Arkham Knight Villians

Overview

Batman Arkham Knight is the fourth instalment installment in the Batman Arkham series. It starts with Scarecrow threatening to blow up the city and fill it with his "fear toxin".
The player plays as Batman trying to take him down as the main objective with other villians also causing chaos in Gotham that also need to be taken down as side objectives.

My Rankings

My rankings of the villians and the missions I faced them in the game go as follows:

1. Scarecrow

   With no suprise, Scarecrow, aka Dr Johnathan Crane, tops my list of villians from the game. While Batman and Scarecrow rarely share the same space in the game, his overarching presence throughout the game creating fear and pulling the strings behind the scenes makes him my favorite from this game

2. Joker

   While physically Joker is dead and ashes by the start of the game, he has a major presence in Batman's brain due to Batman being infected with his blood in the previous game and then being released after Scarecrow uses a dose of fear toxin on Batman. The jokes made and general commentary from him throughout the game is enjoyable until the battle in Batman's mind at the end of the game.

3. The Arkham Knight

   The Arkham Knight was hired by Scarecrow to assist in the takeover of Gotham and defeat of Batman. He works primarily as a twist villian, he has his own private militia and attempted to train them in Batman's ways to be of use in defeating him, throughout the game hints are slowly dropped as to who the real identity of The Arkham Knight is, Batman has Alfred look into possibilities due to (in my opinion) not wanting to accept that the indentity is former Robin, Jason Todd, who was kidnapped, tortured, branded, and brainwashed by Joker; who also faked a video of him killing Jason. It's a major emotional moment when his idendity is revealed, at the end of the game he comes to help Batman in taking down Scarecrow.

It took just 24 hours to lose control of the city. Tonight, Gotham is relying on one man to save us all.
